Volunteers

Looking for a fun way to get involved with Junior Nationals and make an impact?

Join us as a Volunteer!

In 2019, over 500 volunteers were used onsite during the week of Junior Nationals to facilitate the national championship event.  Volunteers are critical to the success of the event!

Various roles exist to help out.  These include but are not limited to announcing, sport timers, logistics set up and break down, check in of athletes or volunteers, food and beverage support, fans in the stands and more.

The opportunity to sign up for specific date, times and roles will be available here in the spring.  If you are an individual or smaller group of family or friends, please check back to view our volunteer opportunities and to sign up! Want to make sure we notify you when the sign-up genius launches?

Group Opportunities

Are you part of a large group (10+) who wants to volunteer together? Please contact volunteer@adaptivesportsusa.org for more information.

Important to Note:

  • You do not need previous experience to volunteer
  • The suggested age to volunteer is 14 through adulthood depending on maturity. Under 14?  Please come out and cheer the athletes on!
  • All volunteers must sign an event waiver at check-in
  • Volunteers will be provided with a t-shirt at check-in to wear onsite. For individuals working outside, please bring sunscreen, a water bottle and a hat. Closed toed comfortable shoes are recommended for most events to prevent injury.
  • Confirmed volunteers will receive a reminder email one week prior to the start of the event with additional details about where to check in and additional event information.
  • Flexibility is key with event management.  One occasion, things may need to shift due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.  Thank you in advance.
